Jiro Bevis: Almost Cut My Hair Mix on Racket Racket

Almost Cut My Hair

If you’ve never came across Jiro’s Ying Yangs site, you’re in for a real treat. Lots of fantastic mixes on there as well as amazing individual tracks that he posts and all manner of bizarre, creative and endearing bits and pieces. Never a dull moment between that, Radio Jiro and his Jiro Bevis portfolio website which showcases his unique and distinctive flair for illustration, art and design – including sleeve design for the likes of City Rockers and Rough Trade Records as well as various other pieces of captivating professional and personal work.

We got in touch with Jiro with a fairly loose remit – knowing the depth and diversity of his record collection and how imaginative a mix we’d be certain to get. To put together some of his favourite experimental folk music. The psychedelic selection that we received really couldn’t be any better. Quite outstanding. As is the accompanying artwork he designed for us too. Relax and enjoy.
